What is a podcast?

Podcasting is simply a way of automatically delivering files to your computer (or portable mp3 player) so that you access them any time you want. By subscribing to our podcast, you have 24/7 access to our audio broadcasts absolutely FREE!

What software do I need to listen to a podcast?

You can use any type of podcast subscription software, including: Apple's iTunes, Zubeo, Juice and many others. To take your podcasts with you on-the-go, you will need to transfer them onto your portable media device (such as an ipod or other mp3 player).

How do I subscribe to your podcast?

Zubeo is a Personalized Audio Internet service that helps people discover and listen to great radio programs and podcasts. To subscribe to our podcast via Zubeo, please follow the instructions below.

1. If you do not already have Zubeo installed on your computer, you will first need to download it here. Zubeo runs on Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7. It is 100% virus free!
   


2. Choose the shows you want to listen to.
   


3. Click play.

To subscribe to our podcast via iTunes, please follow the instructions below.

1. If you do not already have iTunes installed on your computer, you will first need to download it here. It is completely free and runs on Mac and PC. You will need to install this software before attempting to download any podcasts.
   


2. In your iTunes program, go to the "Advanced" menu at the top and select "Subscribe to Podcast".
   
   
   


3. In the URL field, type (or copy and paste) the following:
   http://www.thelmawells.com/rss/thelmawells.xml
   
   
   


4. Click "OK". You are now subscribed to our podcast.
   


5. To listen to podcasts, you will access them from the podcast directory on the left side of your iTunes software. The most recent podcasts should automatically download to your computer. Next to the podcast title, you will see a small orange circle that indicates the download process.
   
   
   


6. Click on the triangle to the left of the podcast title to get a list of all available podcast downloads. Any program that has not yet been downloaded will display a GET button on the right. You can click the GET button to download that podcast - or you can click GET ALL to download all of the available podcasts.
   


7. When the podcast download is complete, simply double-click the title and it will begin to play.
   


8. Each time you open iTunes, it will automatically check for new podcasts that are available for download.
