It was such a great joy and pleasure to meet you at the Extraordinary Women's Conference in Johnson City, TN. It was such a wonderful weekend of learning and worshiping. I'm so glad my mother asked me to join her. Your story of singing in church was particularly meaningful to me because I share the same experience. In fact I still struggle today with my confidence in singing. When I heard you sing I knew that you sang for the Lord and that you received true joy in doing so. Thank you for your words when we spoke after your session and thank you for your wonderful ministry. I go with renewed hope in using my voice to please and glorify the Lord. Attached is the photo from the event of my mother (Vickie and myself with you) that you asked me to send to you. I hope to see you again in the future and I thank you again for your words. Have safe travels!

Thelma, I have been watching you on James and Betty Robison forever, I just love you. Five years ago, I was addicted to Crack, and I drank like a fish, I knew I had to stop, it was destroying me, and my marriage. I had just lost my job. And found out I had to go in for emergency double bypass, In THREE days. I prayed and asked God if he would see me through this operation I would never do any kind of drug again and I would stop drinking. I went in to the surgery and not only did God see me through the surgery, he also delivered me from drinking or drugs, instantly!!! From the time I left the hospital I did not have one drink, or any drugs, I did not have any desire to nor did I have any kind of a withdraw. Praise God, my husband gave his heart to God about 5 months ago, and was baptized, and has been sober for 21 days. He is active in our discover Recovery program at church. I just thank God every day for being a God of second and third chances. He is so good to us. I pray I can serve him well. Thank You so much for this web site. I have some friends I will now contact and invite them to join us. Bless you Thelma.

Anyone knowing Thelma Wells would not have questioned that this wonderful woman of God was already perfected in the Lord. But, if anything characterizes Thelma, it is her transparent honesty. As this internationally acclaimed woman of God faced the harsh realities of a devastating physical trial, she discovered that God was not yet through with her.

When I think of Thelma, she makes me smile, she’s like Jesus with skin on…she’s a constant reminder of God’s grace. Thelma is an epistle of Christ written not with ink, but by the spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of flesh that is of the heart.

Thelma is a tremendous blessing to all who hear her. Even when hurting, Thelma has found the Peace that passes understanding, and she’s passed that opportunity to have that peace on to others.

Thelma is a woman of character, of talent and distinction. She always knows how to connect and communicate with the audience--with a Christian spirit, an intellectual mind and a gifted soul. I congratulate Thelma for the ability to connect with human beings, to minister and help them, to be the kind of steward with which our Lord would be very happy.
