Our daughter was raised in a Christian home - we prayed for her before she was even born. She was a leader among her peers all through school until she turned 17 and she walked away from the Lord. She is now 25 and very far from the Lord and dabbling in lesbianism. My heart is broke, my dreams shattered but my faith is strong (most of the time). Please pray that she will return to the God of her childhood, that her spiritual eyes will be open and like the prodigal - she will realize that she needs to come 'home'. I'm praying that the Lord will pull her out of the miry clay and plant her feet once again on the Solid Rock.

I am in the middle of a custody battle with my son's father. He has custody but I want it back and my son wants to be home. In the middle of all this my son's stepfather (the one he shares the closest relationship with) has been diagnosed with cancer. My son is miles away and his father wont let him come home to be with his bothers and sisters and stepfather while he fights to live. His problem is with me and not my parenting. And he is hurting everyone involved. I don't want him out of my son's life, but I do want him to understand that this other man doesnt have long to live and they also have a bond and right now the family needs to be together for support of each other. I also want him to understand the bond that he is breaking between his son and his siblings. I have apologized to this man and he has not excepted it. My prayer is for my ex, my son, and me along with every member of my family as we go through this.

My husband and I have hit a snag. There has been much stress this summer (my mother died, I almost lost my job because of layoffs, I suffered 2 miscarriages, and my whole family is fighting about my mother's meager estate.) My husband and I rarely fight and have a happy and flourishing marriage most of the time, but he says he has witnessed in me a tendancy to not tell the whole truth in order to avoid hurting someone's feelings or starting an arguement and he doesn't like that. He says he feels he is starting not to trust me because of this. My heart is so grieved because I did not purpose in my heart to do such a terrible thing. My marriage is so important to me and while I know that I have sinned and already prayed for forgiveness, I would like for the flame of passion and love in my marriage to burn brightly again. I am in a scary place and I need wisdom to know when I am doing something contray to the will of God and my husband. I don't want to hurt either of them. In Jesus Name.
