Thelma's Bio

For the past 30 years, Thelma has been dedicated to inspiring women to BEE THEIR BEST. First in the
corporate arena and later through her own ministry called A Woman of God Ministries. As a speaker she
has encourage thousands of women across the nation at conferences hosted by organizations like Women of Faith, Extraordinary Women, Women in Christian Media, and countless other women's groups, workshops and conferences.

In 2009, she began her own conference entitled, READY TO WIN WOMEN'S CONFERENCE, held annually in Grapevine, Texas, on Martin Luther King Day. She also offers girl's getaways – quick weekend trips to inspire, encourage and rejuvenate women for days to come, and each Labor Day weekend she hosts the "Picnic at the Lake with Thelma," a lake-house retreat.

Her messages can be heard on NRB Channel 378 on Direct TV, each Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. Eastern/9:30 a.m. Central. This show offers a fresh perspective on today's issues for women through dialogue and teaching. Thelma can also be heard on American Family Radio KSUR 88.9FM and KBDE 89.9FM with her "Mama T Says…" radio spots. These one-minute inspirational messages offer hope to listeners every day.

Her book titles include Don’t Give In – God Wants YOU to Win!, Ready to Win over Depression, Mama T Says…Rise & Shine: Devotions with a Kick, Ready to Win over Worry & Anxiety, Ready to Win over Anger and her newest DVD Bible Study, “God, I’m Ready to Walk in Faith.”

Thelma has been married to George Wells, her best friend, supporter, and encourager, for more than 50 years. The couple resides in Dallas, Texas, and has three children, nine grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
