BEE-live in God Book

I’ve been a Christian since I was 4. That’s right four! Oh, I didn’t know all the theological intricacies that come along with our Christian faith but I knew I did bad things and I knew a price need to be paid because of those things. I also believed that Jesus had paid that price for me and I wanted that!

I’m 46 now and since then, my faith had grown stale. Without life! Without a passion for Christ! Until about 6 years ago. That’s when my wife of 16 years left me. Never dreamed that would happen and regardless of who’s to blame (there’s enough to go around), it was the catalyst for my re-awakening.

Did God make this happen to bring me back to Him? Oh, I’m not going down that path. One thing I do know, is He allowed it to happen for His glory and His glory alone. Looking back, it was the most horrible but best thing that has ever happened to me. Today I pray for my ex-wife. Not that she will recognize her horrible mistakes and the wake of suffering that was caused, but that Christ will awaken her to His glorious peace and that she will truly find His rest. That she can die to herself so Christ can live through her. That’s true rest indeed.
